My good friend Trevor from over at Shake and Stir Blog had a few kind words to say, check it out:

Last night I had the pleasure of being the Mixologist at The Barrister Lounge networking “Chocolate and Martini Night”. A packed house of entrepreneurs gathered to network and speak about their businesses while sipping on five signature martinis (apple, orange, cherry, chocolate & flirtini) made by yours truly. In addition to indulging in Martinis everyone had a chance to savor delectable assorted chocolate covered strawberries by Nia Hammond of The Sweetest Touch.

“Chocolate and Martini Night” was produced by entrepreneur and Barrister store manager, Steve Jennings. Steve opened the event speaking about the importance of giving small businesses a chance and supporting one another. It was inspiring to listen to everyone’s stories about entrepreneurship and the rewards of being your own boss.

I might of been a little heavy handed on the Martinis because the night concluded with a cigar smoked-filled room FIESTA! The event was a huge success and a great night for all who attended. Thanks again to Steve “The Smokologist” Jennings for hosting the event. Martini/Chocolate Business Networking Event

Time to network again people! Want to jump start your business? Want to connect with other business owners such as yourself? Here's the mission: There are millions of entrepreneurs in America who depend on the income generated by a small business that need help getting off the ground. At my event you will get an opportunity to talk about your business and put your business on the map with other business owners such as yourself.

On April 9, 2011 I'll be doing it again at the Barrister Lounge, same concept as before,

I will introduce you to new and existing businesses and give you a chance to expand your brand.

During the event you will get a chance to showcase your business, hand out business cards and flyer's and get a chance to win prizes throughout the night.

The drink of the evening will be your choice of 6 different martini's and the special guest of the night will be Nia Hammond from The Sweetest Touch. Mrs. Hammond started her home business to accommodate customers looking for something special with a personal touch. Her specialty is chocolate covered strawberry's. The strawberry's will be double dipped that night at the event in your choice of 3 different chocolates and whatever topping you choose, and the product will be for you to sample throughout the evening or purchase to take home.

The cost of the event is $20, you will receive a raffle ticket to win a prize, and allows you to eat and partake in the libations all night. After the event is over there will be after party to close out the night.
